Friend of the RCHM
Friend Membership is for people who want to support the RCHM without being a practising member. It has two routes in: as one of the options offered to a member whose practising membership is ending, or as an open application from a member of the public who wants to support the RCHM.
Who can become a Friend
Departing members: When a member's practising membership comes to an end, they are typically offered a choice between moving to Retired Membership or becoming a Friend.
Members of the public: Anyone can apply to become a Friend of the RCHM, whether or not they have any background in Chinese herbal medicine. This is the key difference from Retired Membership, Retired Members are definitely former practising members, whereas Friends can be, and often are, people with no herbalist background at all who simply want to support the RCHM's work.
Fee
£36 per year.
